Insurance Distribution Directive
The European Union Distribution Directive (IDD)/ Directive 2016/97/EU due to come into force in February 2018 effects the EU countries in which Globality distributes its products. This Directive strengthens consumer protection in the insurance field by tightening rules on the information and advice provided by insurance undertakings (including their staff), regardless of the distribution channels. We are pleased to share the documents below with our brokers to enable them to be IDD compliant when the directive comes into force.
