Experienced Project Manager (m/f/d)

Munsbach, Luxemburg – The main objective of this role is to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within the stipulated scope and budget, to lead the initiation and planning of projects and to ensure technical feasibility. While ensuring the availability of resources, you will develop a detailed plan to monitor and track the progress of the projects under your responsibility.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage medium to large projects and programs in conformance within the company’s Project Management Framework and Governance process.
  • Determine and define project scope and objectives.
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation.
  • Provide management and/or supervised delegation in the following areas: project planning, execution, and control; procurement management; quality management; risk management; communications management; resource management; time, cost, and scope management.
  • Directly interface with internal and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Oversee the development of business and technical requirements, and drive initiatives to ensure project timelines and expectations are met.
  • Track project costs to meet budget and work closely with Finance and accounts to manage the budget.
  • Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives relating to business needs.
  • Utilize Process Management (BPM) tools and techniques to document and improve business processes.

Your Profile

University degree in Business Administration, computer science or similar qualification.

3 to 4 years of relevant experience, ideally in the field of insurance with a good understanding of technology (IT) in insurance.

Experience in project management, presentation, and workshop techniques.

Excellent analytical skills coupled with team spirit, the ability to work effectively in an international set-up, assertiveness, and strong communication skills.

Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.

Ability to take decisions and assume responsibility.

Focus on solutions with the ability to prioritize multiple objectives in a rapidly changing environment.

A sound command of Excel and Power Point is required.

Strong analytical skills sufficient to interpret statistical information.

High level of commitment and integrity as well as willingness to learn.

Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful.

Excellent command of English. Additional European languages are an advantage.
