Team Leader – Project Management Office (m/f)

Munsbach, Luxembourg – The role of the Team Leader of Project Management Office is to manage Globality’s project portfolio in the most effective manner. He/she will support the development of the company’s strategy and its execution, maintain control over business projects’ scope and deliverables and will drive digitalization and automation initiatives. This position reports directly to the Head of IT & PMO.

Your Responsibilities

  • Project management
  • Direct and manage the development of all projects within the PMO‘s portfolio
  • Ensure the development of best practices and techniques for project planning
  • Effectively manage multi-disciplined project teams’ time and allocate resources to ensure deliverables are completed
  • Coach, mentor and motivate project team leads, team members, and contractors
  • Manage medium to large projects and programs in conformance within the company’s Project
  • Management Framework and Governance process
  • Influence projects owners to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
  • Review budget proposals and recommend changes where necessary

Strategy, Digitalization & Automation

  • Support the development of the business strategy and implement the departmental development strategies as decided by the Management Committee and the Heads of Department
  • Drive the development and execution of future digitalization and automation strategies, by collecting, prioritizing and leading these efforts
  • Develop dashboards aligned to the mission statement of the company

Your Profile

Higher education in Business Administration, Finance or Economics.

5 years’ direct work experience in Project Management acquired in the Health Insurance sector, ideally in an International Private Medical Insurance environment. At least 5 years’ leadership experience in an international environment.

Ability to ensure implementation of strategy by setting business drivers and KPIs aligned with the company’s mission statement.

Proven experience in structuring and leading a portfolio of strategic and transversal projects in accordance with project management standards such as PMI, Prince2…

Experience in reading communication styles of project team leads, team members, and contractors coming from a broad spectrum of disciplines.

Experience in developing and deploying projects best practices, policies, procedures, and processes. Detailed knowledge of process improvement methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma.

Excellent analytical and conceptual skills. Solid leadership skills and proven people management experience as well as a strong ability to defuse potential tension among and between project teams in a high-pressure environment.

Ability to be persuasive, encouraging, motivating and to be a challenger at all levels of the organization.

Confident, credible and engaging manner. Flawless spoken and written English. Any other language is considered an advantage.
