IT Technical Analyst (m/f)

Munsbach, Luxemburg – In this position you will use your analytical abilities to ensure the smooth running, improvement and documentation of the key business applications in Globality Health. You will report to the Applications Team Leader.

Your Responsibilities

  • Responsible for several critical business systems, including our core insurance platform;
  • Implement configuration changes in our key systems and actively participate in the IT and business projects which touch the key applications;
  • Perform first and second level support for end-users regarding the core systems; analyze incoming business requests (incidents, service requests, change requests) and either solve or prioritize the requests for developers;
  • Understand Globality’s business processes and the IT tools currently in place to meet their needs; analyze and understand the problems and potential solutions;
  • Interact with all stakeholders to align business requirements to the business application features;
  • Support the Applications Team Leader in designing and implementing system solutions based on business requirements;
  • Support the SDLC, specifically, with regards to Technical Specifications, Test Case validation, and User Acceptance Testing;
  • Be the first point of contact with our main vendors for application development;
  • Ensure a proper and structured documentation regarding our core systems (specifically, end user manuals; process descriptions, requirement analyses, etc.);
  • Ensure that the service management processes are performed as designed and that application tickets are handled in time and in accordance with the Service Level Agreements;
  • Recommend controls by identifying technical issues and improving IT procedures & processes;
  • And any additional duties and responsibilities that may reasonably be expected to be undertaken in accordance with the role.

Your Profile

Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent

At least 3 years of working experience in a similar role with regard to providing system support or project execution

Experience in querying MS SQL/Oracle databases, Web Services (JSON/REST API) and/or Serviceoriented Architecture is desirable

ITIL certification would be considered a competitive advantage

Analytic ability and diligent with attention to detail

Professional and positive approach with an ability to cope under pressure

Collaborates well with others and an effective communicator at all levels with an ability to work on own initiative

Self-motivated & self-sufficient

Fluency in both written and spoken English is mandatory; knowledge of German language would be considered a competitive advantage
